Mike and Alison Flensburg

Mike and Alison Flensburg are both former teachers.  Mike now spends his time writing, and also running a second hand book store; Alison spends her time volunteering for Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers, including doing presentations and performances for children.

Mike and Alison

Mike and Alison performed in “Celebrating Momma Earth”: an environmental children’s show they wrote and produced, in which Alison played Momma Earth and Mike played an environmental villain named Double Trouble Mac McMuddle.  When the reformed Mac McMuddle took the audience on a tour of our wonderful earth, “Grassland, Wind Land, Sky Land” represented the prairie region.

They have published children’s poetry and Alison has also published articles for teachers.
